I'm rarely attribute things to stress. But there are a couple of signs I am starting to stop ignoring and starting to stop attributing to other stuff. One of those is an increased susceptability to back twinges and another is ingrowing beard hairs. At present I have both. And therefore I say I am stressed. Why the beard hair thing? I have no idea.
Paris Hilton is creditted with using the word egregious. Or rather her attorneys are.
"This action seeks to enjoin perhaps one of the most single egregious and reprehensible invasions of privacy ever committed against an individual," Hilton's attorneys wrote in the lawsuit, which claims copyright infringement, invasion of privacy and violation of her right to publicity.Wow. She has a right to publicity. Do I have a right to publicity? I am humbled by 'her' use of a word that I had to look up the meaning of.

Egregious is a good word, I first encountered it in The League of Gentlemen (yep it's in there too) .. it is in a scene with Pauline (Dole Scum). It is a "trick" word in that its original meaning is the opposite of what it has come to mean today, see http://www.answers.com/topic/egregious
It is from the Latin ēgregius which means outstanding.
/etymological bollix mode off;-)/
no one likes a smart arse :-)
I rarely comment, however after reading a great deal of comments on "egregious".
I do have some questions for you if you tend not to mind.
Is it simply me or do a few of the responses appear like they are left by brain dead folks?
