Plan A

Thinking about this Janathon thing and trying to work out how I'll get in some miles each and every day of January while at the same time training for Six Foot. January is when I'd be hoping to do some of the big training runs - 30km plus of hilly trails - at least a couple of times in the month, something which can be reasonably expected to wipe me out and require a day or two of rest afterwards.

So Plan A, which may change by Jan 2nd, is this. Run to and from work a couple of times each week. Do a 10k one lunch time and my 6k cross train another day. One long run at the weekend and then a couple days of really very light work. Sounded feasible, so yesterday morning, after walking the dogs, I ran in to work, to see how I'd feel.

As it happens I felt like death warmed up. Warmed up quite considerably, boiling being the manner of that warming. I think I'll need to do some work on my Sydney-summer-overnight hydration. Buy shares in Gatorade now.
