not hating public transport

Typically I hate public transport. But today...When I get the bus to work I usualy get the slower 273 that does not take the Freeway route it's faster 272 stablemate does. The slower bus gives me a little more time - maybe 10 extra minutes - to read my book and still only takes 25mins to get to the City. And I always get a seat. Today, with no book, I grabbed the iPod and my noise cancelling headphones and made my way to the bus stop. Sun shining but not too hot and humid I had the Cure, then the Ramones, then the Badpennies (I used to work with Jay, the drummer) keeping me company. First bus was an express so I let it go. Second was an express with hardly any passengers so I climded aboard. I opened the window a little to catch a breeze and got some Antony and the Johnstones followed by Andrea Bocelli as I went over the bridge. The Harbour looked fantastic; though for a lot of the trip I had my face to the wind and my eyes closed. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Gil Scott Heron and Jimi Hendrix completed a fantastic commute.
