I have a theory. Only one England team can, at one one period in time, be half-decent. And therefore, after the footballers put in a solid performance to beat Russia 3-0, the rugby team - defending world champions, no less - get smacked 36-0 by the Boks and the cricketers get demolished by the Aussies in the 20-20 world cup. Ho-hum.
