clump

I - well, we - really should stop calling clump "clump" and start calling it bump. It is, for the next six-and-bit weeks "it" but then, nineteen weeks in, "it" has the option of being called "he" or "she." Yep, news does not get much bigger. Sal is a little over twelve weeks pregnant. I am sure more news will follow, but for now it is a little secret shared between you, me and anyone with access to the internet. There is a logic to calling "it" clump or bump. Stops us from getting too emotionally involved too early because things can happen. but or now clump has a nose-bone and that is a good thing (Downs Syndrome clumps often have no nose bone at twelve weeks) and according to the doc it is mathematically impossible for Sal to get high risk rating. All good. Watch this space.

Sal, sadly, is not having a great time adjusting to the glow of expectancy. Tired, sicky and quite frankly and even by her own admission far more mental than usual. Roll on trimester two and the possibility of some relief.
