snow joke

Perisher Blue in New South Wales has the most expensive one day lift pass price of any ski resort in the world. Fair enough though...just check out the summit of Mount Perisher on the opning day of the season...

For chrissake southern hemisphereans, go to Chile...sure the cost of getting there is a bit rich, but at least there's snow.

Snow News for Chile - last updated on 5 June 2008

Excellent early season snowfalls have blanketed the Chilean with a brilliant white cover. The Three Valleys resorts of El Colorado (90/110cm) and La Parva (105/155cm) were scheduled to open on 14th June, but it now looks like it will be possible to ski at both resorts this weekend.

Portillo (150/200cm) has moved their planned opening date forward from 21st June to 14th June due to the amount of snow they have received.
