Italian Greyhound

The Italian Greyhound is a dog that moves so quickly you get a sense of movement rather than a sight of it. Dogs, who can hear sound outside of the range of the human range, must also be able to see more quickly (?) than humans, because Rumpole and Rowlf seemed to have no trouble playing with one of these delicate little speed-freaks.

Actually, I'm not sure Rowlf could see the little fella particularly well; maybe because of his shaggy fringe or maybe because he is a bit daft. I think he spotted the little hound pop into and out of invisibility as it chaged direction. And he felt it as it gave playful "keep up!" nips at his hairy heels.

In next to no time I had two panting, wheezing, utterly knackered dogs to drag home so they could flop onto the floor and fall asleep. I reckon they'll sleep all weekend.
