FISH!

I feel that I should blog on the completely mad world of finance, but right now I cannot be arsed. So, fish.

I went for a run a lunch time. As I got to the steps that come up from the Opera Bar to the forecourt of the Opera House I saw a load of seagulls on the surface and a load of fish splashing about on the surface. I stopped to take a look and was pretty amazed to see a school of Yellowtail Kingfish striking at the surface. Big suckers too, must have been around two and half feet long. The feeding frenzy, all very National Geographic, lasted around a minute, the kingfish disappeared, the guls calmed and I continued my run, pretty chuffed that I live in a place where the naural wonders still manage to fill me with wonder. Which is, I guess, why they are wonders.

Out front (back? Harbour side, I guess back...) of the Opera House workmen were putting up a stage on which, I believe, The Pussycat Dolls will perform. Being Harbour Side of the Opera House it will look great on TV, but will have very little space for fans. I guess that is the way of the world.
