beautiful timing

So far this year the following things have happened at work

• No pay rises
• No bonuses
• 30% of the workforce laid off and no redundancy payments made - some folks had been with the company for over 9years
  
• Social club launched...which members pay for with a deduction from their monthly salary.

OK, so the company will match the $10 per month fee, but really, come on...not many of us are feeling particularly social right now.
