Janathon

My bro put me on to Janathon and in a moment of weakness I signed up. The idea is to run each and every day of January and blog about it, which on the face of it seems a simple enough task. It is the child of Juneathon, which, you guessed it...It seems to be a predominantly northern hemisphere thing, so I'm not sure I'll go with Sydney's summer humidity, an not sure how I'll go dragging my sorry butt out for a run in the day or two after any long runs. We shall see. Thought I'd best start working on the excuses early. Right now Sydney is 23 degrees and heading for 29. Humidity is 84% and it is just gone five in the morning. Still waiting to see if I get moved up from the Six Foot Track waitlist to the main event - entries took about 5mins to fill when they opened yesterday morning. That will be the deciding factor in how long is long this summer.
