So, dog walk over we loaded up the car and headed north, parked up, and from the cafe I started to run back south. If you look at the map you'll see I started on the western, inside of the peninsula. At about 08:40 that gave me some shade. Until I had to head east, up and over a small mountain and out into the blazing sun. Oh the joys of Janathon downunder; as if humidity around 75% (dropping from an overnight high in the 90s) wasn't enough. Yeah, I know, whinge, whinge, whinge, moan, moan, moan. On the plus side, the views over Whale and Palm Beaches are stunning, as is he sort of money you need to live here. But it isn't gated off from sweaty little bald blokes, so I get to spend some time there.
Down the steps to the pool at Palm Beach and then along the beachfront I guestimated that I'd need to add a lap of the carpark to make sure I hit double figures, which is what I'd hoped to do. As carparks go, the one at the end of Palm Beach is not a bad one to run around.
Back at the cafe I scavenged some leftovers that I walked away from the table to eat; I was dripping with sweat and did the decent thing, removing myself from the view of decent folks.
Pretty tired right now, eyes stinging and feeling clammy. Should really have logged the 10k I probably did inside the Etalong Beach Club, chasing my hyper daughter all over the place...early - even earlier - night tonight.
Oh, one more thing, a moan about RunningFreeOnline. I log my runs with a GPS. I have never done this run before, so how the fricken hell can RFO think it may be a duplicate? Sheesh....

I could do with a bit more sunshine and heat but it's hard to do a lot of miles particularly when it's humid. It must be hard to stay hydrated. Good pace you set there, my running is a crawl in comparison. Nice going and it looks like you're squeezing everything in.
As ever, descriptive, entertaining and inspirational (or should that be perspirational?)
