ton up

On the way I passed 100 miles for the year so I'm managing to average 10miles a day. I think that will dip a bit this week. In a moment of mind-wandering-madness I started to think that maybe, one day, I could have a crack at a proper ultra. The moment passed before I needed to stop and give myself a good hard slap.

I did score a little drizzle this morning, which was nice but not enough. Somehow fate is keeping me and the rain apart. By the bridge the sun had started to poke through the clouds and I was glad to stop at the office. I'm not sure the folks in the lift with me where too impressed with the state I was in. I usually fire my PC up before heading for a shower but this morning, as a small puddle of sweat collected next to my desk, I just grabbed my towel and headed for the showers. Same run tomorrow and Wednesday, maybe with a bit of a twist, if I'm feeling frisky.

Welcome to the 100 club AW! Great running, particularly in respect of your daddy-duties.

Congratulations on the ton, Kevin! I am also feeling the challenge of balancing family life with an event like Janathon - it's good to know someone else is doing it and still getting the miles in. Hope your sleep improves over the next few days...
