there is one more thing
Last night was all a bit odd because I got home from my run to an empty house. Proper empty. Sal and the girls are still away and most furniture is in storage or piled up in the sunroom. I found the TV (on AJ's bed) and the aerial (on an otherwise empty bookshelf) and stuck them on the kitchen bench. I found my modem and router in a mangled pile of cables in the TV cabinet that had been moved to the sunroom. I took them to the lounge (drop sheets on floor, 2 ladders, no furniture) and plugged them in. Fired up the laptop on the kitchen bench. The house was a mess, but I had Guinness, TV and the internet, so it could have been a lot worse. I wasn't really tired or hungry or anything much. I sort of stood there dazed for a bit, then I fed the dogs and made myself a sarnie. AJ's high chair was in her bedroom and I eventually sat on that while I watched a bit of tele. My brother wasn't on facebook, so no chatting with him. Oh well. I logged my miles, finished my blog, packed away the stuff I'd just unpacked and went to bed. The Dunkel will be for tonight.
I had a fairly ordinary night's sleep, waking up a few times, snotty, but not bunged up. I got up at about 5:15. Legs were still working and cold was still lurking. I grabbed my Blackberry and Garmin and took the dogs to the park. The metres today were pretty simple. Once I was ready to head home I jogged over to the bin, 31metres from where I'd been standing, and dumped my coffee cup. I stopped the timer, clipped the dogs leads to their collars and walked home, Juneathon running obligations complete.
I loaded the GPX file from the Blackberry when I got to work.
