There is something strangely satisfying, maybe a little sadistic pleasure taken, in the knowledge that as I prepare to leave work for the week my friends, former colleagues and, well just about every other worker in the UK will be about to start their week. True, the counter piss-take is that my Monday will arrive sooner to the same degree that my weekend starts earlier so it is a zero-sum game. But I can, right now, see two cruise ships passing each other and Fort Denison as they make their way in and out of Sydney Harbour. So I win. SO there.
While I remember..there is another cruise ship in Circular Quay at the moment. (using grumpy old voice) I dunno, you don't see a cruise ship for ages then three turn up at once! Tsk!
