boring

Today is my third day without running as I get over my blister from hell. I was coughing a bit this morning - actually, make that last night as I was up at 5 today - and I am starting to entertain all sorts of doubts about my upcoming marathon. No amount of platitude seems to get throuigh, and yes, I know I'll be fine and yes, I've probably done enough training and and and...but right now, not happy. So apart from that all has been rather dull. One day at work is much like another when you work in IT. This blog would be far more interesting if I were a fireman or a lion tamer or someone who does something that does not consist almost entirely of sitting in an office tapping away at a keyboard. OK, having thoroughly depressed myself I'm going to get some lunch.
