easy like a Sunday morning

Last night we finalised details for today's dive. High tide due at 08:30, scheduled winds from the NW so we were good for the north side. JCJ, The Chad and I decided to go look for sharks at Fairy Bower. Phone calls were made at 08:00 and shortly after I headed out to collect JCJ.

As I drove down the hill to to Manly we thought the seas looked somewhat lumpier than we'd expected. As we approached the Bower we saw a surfer walking back from the ocean with two halfs of his surfboard under his arms. Hmmm. We drove down to take a look, looked, turned around and headed for Fairlight, protected inside the harbour. Vince - the Chad - arrived at about 09:30 and after taking the piss out of DJ in absentia, and then taking the piss out of each other, we geared up and headed for the water...hoping to get in before the busloads (literally) of other divers from the local schools jumped in. It was warm, quite clear and looked like it was going to be a good one.

I have decided to go back to posting dive details in my old divelog blog, making it my current divelog blog. So that is where you'll find the dive details...

Post dive it was time for breakfast and we headed back to Cremorne and a ridiculously long wait for a bowl of penne and some granola that gave us plenty of time to chat about this and that and the other, a part of the morning in it's own way as enjoyable as the dive.

When I got home Sal was still in bed, though she assured me she has been up and had headed back to bed...
