Large Japanese named Shirase research-naval vessel pulled into wharf 8 today. A large car carrier also pulled out, an amzing amount of it sitting proud from the water, and at the other extreme, smack bang in the middle of the same waterway was a bloke in a kayak. Well I say a bloke, but at that distant I could not tell. I assume it was a bloke because I assume a woman would not be quite as reckless. Helped pass another dullish day at the office, broken at lunch by a run to Pyrmont and back, followed by a dry off with a t-shirt because I'd forgotten to take a towel to work.
