I was in two minds as to whether or not to upload this pic. I don't want my site to advertise stuff I don't want to advertise.
If this were a small piece of street art I'd not like it because it's a bit contrived and hippyish. However...this is advertising for the NRMA, a large insurance company. Therefore, not only does it displease me it actually angers me.
Genuince artists and people with something to say are criminalised when they place a piece in the public domain. But a large corporation is allowed to spray paint the streets of Sydney.
So let me get this right; graffiti is a crime, but cool and hip enough to be exploited by big business as long as the price is right?
Oh dear.
For the record, the same goes for TV Show adverts.
