super Sunday

Saturday was a little damp for me. Weather was fine and the day started well with Rowlf swimming, and ended well with a quick bush run, but the middle part was a largely directionless mooch around the shops. Pah.

So to today. How much of a wanker do I sound...got up and headed to Bills in Woolhara for breakfast. Corn fritters onboard, I rang JCJ and we arranged to go freediving with sharks. Which we did; Sal stayed ashore with Rumpole, taking some sun which the two of us headed out and under the swimmers. I'll divelog the details, but the headline news is that I saw at least 10 sharks; I think I counted 12 before losing count as they circled a few metres beneath me. I'm going to say there were 15, and as some are larger than others I think they come from two separate litters (no idea f sharks have litters, but that's the word I'm using.) So, after 75mins in the water JCJ and I exited, dried off and we headed back for a coffee...

...quick news break...Rowlf steals toilet rolls. We've done as much as we (think) we can to stop him, but nope, he still steals them. Sal has just upped the stakes; she has put some rather nasty pepper-stuff on the loo roll. Untold potential for human anal-trauma. Must...remember...

Where was I? Oh yeah, we had coffee, bought some storage baskets and headed home. I went to the gym, which was almost empty so I had my pick of the equipment. Then I went home, grabbed big fella and took him for a walk, picked up a few beers on the way home and I'm now chillin' with said beer.

In other news; my decision to switch allegiance from the Sharks to the Bunnies continues to pay dividends to any team playing Souths, as South Sydney Rabbitohs make it three losses from three games. This follows my decision on Thursday morning to wear my England shirt as a woeful England took on and lost to France. The Guardian's minute-by-minute text was its typically entertaining self as I read the awful truth. The BBC were more forgiving
England suffered their first defeat under coach Fabio Capello with a disappointing performance in France.
Yes, their first defeat of the two games played under Capello.

Potentially disastrous news! My camera phone is playing up. The focus is playing up and it's not releasing the shutter consistently. NNNnnnnnnnooooooo!
